The racecourse
Pride of the city and of the whole Alto Adige, the racecourse of Merano is a sportsfield of rare beauty and a horseracing venue of international standing. Its emerald green expanse is framed by the urban scenary of the spa town, leading the way towards to the Alpine peaks beyond. The racecourse is the venue of most spectacular and exciting of all equestian events.
The racecourse of Meran is open from may until october, and Josef Mountain Resort's guests have the opportunity to enjoy these exclusive services:
- Purchase of entry ticket to the Racecourse at a symbolic price of 2 euro for all days (excluding GP Merano Alto Adige day), presenting the voucher received at the hotel: it allows to attend the afternoon races, the side events and to participate in the guided sightseeing tour.
- Guided tour within the Racecourse (approximately 40 minutes) one hour before the start of the races.
