The Spa town of Merano

The second largest city in South Tyrol, Merano, just 10 km away from Falzeben and, in the 19th Century, already famous as a spa town thanks to its Mediterranean climate. Merano is not only a favourite destination during summertime for leisure, shopping and strolls around the town but it also has lots to offer in winter. The annual Christmas Market is really spectacular and always has something new for visitors to discover each year.
